The park is a botanist's delight with hundreds of unique specimens, including 350 palms. Its network of pathways offers access to the park's shelters, seating and barbeque facilities, and vantage points with sweeping vistas of the city surrounds. The gardens also feature many unique artworks.

Yet another of the great Brisbane attractions is the Queensland Sciencecentre, part of the excellent Queensland Museum at South Bank. Here individuals of all ages, especially children, can get a firsthand glimpse at science experiments as well as many tricks that will impress everyone.
